2013 A Year of Order

2013 A YEAR OF ORDER by BILL BURNS:

 This message is a continuation of the “2012 A Year of Discovery” word.  The overall theme of last year’s prophetic overview was Divine Government.  In this past year God began to establish this divine government (rule) in the hearts of His people.  His people are those whose desire is to live in the fullness of His kingdom.

The establishment of the government of God will be progressive, and each progression will come with a shifting in the spiritual realm.  The major shift this year will produce “Divine Order”.  This will be a major work of the Holy Spirit in 2013.  If order is not established, government will not work properly.

The Trumpet:  The foundation of My government has been established in the hearts of My people.  Now, My house will be built, and My kingdom will be established.  Divine order will become the present work of My Spirit in this year.  Order must be established in the lives of My people because disorder will govern the world and its systems.  Make every effort to establish yourselves in My order.  You can do this by staying in touch with Me, and by allowing My Spirit to guide you from day to day.  Stay connected!

The Progression

The spiritual progression of divine government is established in God’s Word, and the pattern is found in the Book of Joshua.  After 40 years in the wilderness for rebellion to God’s rule, Israel entered into the promise of God.

Joshua 1:1-3    “After the death of Moses the servant of the LORD, it came to pass that the LORD spoke to Joshua the son of Nun, Moses’ assistant, saying: “Moses My servant is dead.  Now therefore, arise, go over this Jordan, you and all this people, to the land which I am giving to them-the children of Israel.  Every place that the sole of your foot will tread upon I have given you, as I said to Moses.”

Their journey began by crossing over through the Jordan River, which represents the anointing (Joshua 3).  They were anointed for the journey.  Our present journey is also established by the anointing and the 12 doves that visited our house this summer.
Twelve stones were set up in the Jordan River as a sign of God’s order, and twelve stones were also taken from the river and set up in Gilgal (Joshua 4).  Gilgal means “a rolling stone.”  It represents the place of covenant promise.  The twelve stones represent the foundation of God’s government set over our hearts.  (Exodus 28:15-20) Gilgal is also the place where the past reproach was removed.

Joshua 5:9    “Then the LORD said to Joshua, “This day I have rolled away the reproach of Egypt from you.”  Therefore the name of the place is called Gilgal to this day.”

2013-A Year of Victory

God’s order as established by the anointing, covenant promise, and liberty from the past sets us up for victory according to the pattern.  The first battle for Israel’s conquest was at Jericho.

Joshua 6:1-4    “Now Jericho was securely shut up because of the children of Israel; none went out, and none came in.  And the LORD said to Joshua: “See! I have given Jericho into your hand, its king, and the mighty men of valor.  You shall march around the city, all you men of war; you shall go all around the city once.  This you shall do six days.  And seven priests shall bear seven trumpets of rams’ horns before the ark.  But the seventh day you shall march around the city seven times, and the priests shall blow the trumpets.”

Twelve is the number of divine government and thirteen is the number of divine order (obedience) that leads to victory. Israel marched around Jericho once for 6 days and then 7 times on the 7th day.  Six and seven are thirteen, the number of victory that comes as a result of obedience to God’s rule and His directives.

Extraordinary Grace

The apostle Paul was not in the upper room with the twelve, but on the Road to Damascus he became the 13th apostle.  On the Road to Damascus Paul was brought into divine government and order.
The anointing that Paul walked in is what I call the anointing of victory.  Listen to Paul’s testimony:

2 Timothy 3:11    “…persecutions, afflictions, which happened to me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra-what persecutions I endured.  And out of them all the Lord delivered me.”

2 Timothy 4:17    “But the Lord stood with me and strengthened me, so that the message might be preached fully through me, and that all the Gentiles might hear.  And I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion.”

This anointing of victory that is coming to God’s people this year was spoken of prophetically by Marsha Burns:

Small Straws–November 30, 2012:    I am releasing a wave of extraordinary grace that will see you through the weeks ahead.  For, I will indeed empower you to do what is necessary to fulfill that which is required of you.  This is a time to lean on Me for strength and wisdom.  Do not forget that I am your help in times of trouble, so you must not depend on your own understanding.  Rather, rise up in the supernatural realm of the Spirit to gain insight and spiritual support, says the Lord.   

2 Corinthians 12:9   “And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.”  Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my weakness, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.”

Grace is empowerment, and the anointing is that which empowers us to live in victory.

Victory Over Generational Decrees

For some time now we have known that generational curses must be broken off of God’s people so that they can be set free from generational assignments.  However, some generational curses have been around for so long and have become so strong that they have become decrees that can’t be broken.
For these kinds of curses, a decree must be written that cancels the generational decree.  This wisdom comes from the Book of Esther.  The king wrote a decree that couldn’t be broken (see Esther chapter 8).  So he instructed Esther and Mordecai.

Esther 8:8 & 11   “You yourselves write a decree concerning the Jews, as you please, in the king’s name, and seal it with the king’s signet ring; for whatever is written in the king’s name and sealed with the king’s signet ring no one can revoke…..   By these letters the king permitted the Jews who were in every city to gather together and protect their lives-to destroy, kill, and annihilate all the forces of any people or province that would assault them, both little children and women, and to plunder their possessions.”

The result of the decree was revealed in:

Esther 9:1    “Now in the twelfth month, that is, the month of Adar, on the thirteenth day, the time came for the king’s command and his decree to be executed.  On the day that the enemies of the Jews had hoped to overpower them, the opposite occurred, in that the Jews themselves overpowered those who hated them.”

On the 13th day victory came.  This is the year for the writing of decrees that will bring victory.  If you have broken generational curses and haven’t gotten free, try writing a decree that gives you the right to freedom from the hindrances that are set against you.

Expect The Unexpected

This was a word that the Lord spoke to me:

“Expect the unexpected to take place in 2013.”

I understand this to mean:

Unexpected blessings will take place.
Unexpected visitations from angelic beings will take place.
Unexpected manifestations of the gifts of the Holy Spirit will take place.
Unexpected signs and wonders will take place.
Unexpected opportunities will present themselves.

It is a year in which we can’t keep God in our proverbial box.  We should, instead, expect the unexpected in 2013.

Snö i Jerusalem

Jag hoppas länken till denna artikel om det ovanliga snöovädret i Jerusalem fortsätter att fungera för i den finns bilder som nästan känns lite overkliga för den som bara upplevt Jerusalem i gassande sol. Jag har i och för sig varit i Jerusalem ett par gånger i januari, men då var det ungefär som i somras här i Sverige, runt 15 grader sådär...

As this year 2013 approached, I realized I was having some deep-down trepidations about it. I knew that stemmed from superstitious teachings about the number 13 being unlucky, etc…and tried to push it out of my mind. But it seemed to linger. Even Christian scholars have stated that the number 13 is a number that represents “apostasy, depravity and rebellion” and certainly we are seeing that come to fruition. I had had some grand hopes for 2012 and seemed to mostly labor in a subtle, but tormenting travail. It seemed very fruitless (being in labor but not birthing anything) – the opposite of what I had hoped to see. However, sometimes we can’t see the forest for the trees – perhaps it was more fruitful than I could perceive in my pain.

When I was first saved there were a number of things the Father dealt with me to change and one of them was how I acted out of superstition. i.e.:

·         Friday the 13^th being an unlucky date

·         Throwing salt over one’s shoulder that had been spilled

·         Finding a penny heads-up is lucky if you pick it up, but if it is heads-down it is un-lucky and you have to throw it as far as you can

·         Death comes in threes, knock on wood, cross your fingers, making a wish on a rabbit’s foot or wishbone, and so on…

All of these, and many more, are examples of things that creep into our minds and we give them room they don’t deserve. If this is our bent, we add new things as we go through life. The death anniversary of a loved one or something terrible like 9/11 becomes a number we see as dangerous. God has not given us a spirit of fear or timidity, but power (His), love (His) and a sound and well-balanced mind (the mind of Christ)*. We do not need to be influenced or manipulated by worldly superstitions!  Father, in His wisdom and love, has been systematically removing these hindrances and making me aware of new ones trying to creep in unaware.

Today I as I was thinking about it being “two-thousand THIRTEEN” there was something He brought to my attention. Jesus had 12 disciples. Jesus, along with His disciples made 13 companions that traveled together. I asked the Lord if He would give me a specific word about this year – this number.

This is what He said**:

“Where there is evil there will be more, but in righteousness and justice My word will stand forever. Do not look to the right or to the left, and do not call conspiracy what most call conspiracy.

“I Am calling a regiment of people to come together and stand in the fire until they see Me in there with them. Many will leave, but for those that remain they will not only see My glory but so will those around them – especially the unbelievers.

“They will see My glory arise from the flames of man’s bent toward destruction. What looks like a terrible disaster will yield My glory as it arises the lame shall walk and the deaf will hear. The blind will receive sight. This is true for the spiritual as well as the physical.

“Do not tremble or be in fear at this word. Stand tall and be valiant. I will cause those who trust Me to trust Me more. I will cause them to rise from the ashes of death and destruction and walk freely through areas of great turmoil. These are My ambassadors of peace. I have called them forth for such a time as this and in them you will see My dunamis power explode. In places of great despair and fear, My love will explode on the seen in unprecedented ways.

“Do not fear My little scribe. I know this was not what you expected, but you have asked Me for meat and not milk. This word is for My warriors, not for those wrapped up in their cozy lives.

“I never said it would be easy. I never said there would not be suffering or persecution – in fact I warned you there would be. However, I also told you that you are Mine. I gave you My peace and reassured you not to fear. Do not fear for I Am with you. Do not be dismayed for I Am your God. I will strengthen you – yes I will help you. I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.

“Yes, I will strengthen you! You are not alone. I Am your ‘Plus One’.”

**In faith I wrote “this is what He said. I wrote this line before the Lord had actually said anything because I had sensed all morning that He was brooding over me. When I sat down I had barely asked Him, He immediately dictated this word to me. It caused a great ‘fear of the Lord’ to arise in me. We are in a season like no other. We need to be like the 11 disciples who followed Jesus and not the 1 that was the apostate. Amen!

Seek Me Afresh

                            Seek Me Afresh
 
I hear the Lord saying do not put Me in a box. Do not assume that 
because I moved and worked in a particular way in previous times that I 
will use the same method today. Today is a new day to seek Me afresh and 
to walk with Me by faith and let Me lead you step by step by My Spirit. 
I am a creative God.
 
I look for new ways to express Myself within and through My people. Like 
My servant Elijah on the mountain, many look to hear Me speak in 
thundering, lightening and in other spectacular ways yet fail to hear 
and listen to My still small voice. Many have become so comfortable to 
passively wait to hear My Word through My prophets that they do not seek 
Me for themselves. You are so used to doing this that you have forgotten 
what My voice speaking to you sounds like.
 
Have I not said that My sheep hear My voice? My beloved children, I will 
not shout or scream above the noise and busyness of daily life. In order 
to hear My voice you must be still and know that I am God. I will never 
force you into My presence but I will woo you and usher you into the 
holy of holies even as a lover ushers and woos his love into the inner 
chamber. I call and knock on the door of your hearts, but it is up to 
you to respond to that call.
 
When was the last time you listened to the birds singing, observed the 
wind rustling through the trees or watched the ocean waters beat against 
the beach shores? Do you not know that I also speak through My own 
creation. Has your life and ministry become so busy that you have not 
stopped to marvel and wonder at all that I created for you? I am calling 
you now to know My ways. In order to know My ways you have to know and 
hear My voice. In order to hear My voice you must be on the same 
wavelength with Me. 
 
Lay down all your plans, your preconceived ideas about how I will move 
and just come and listen afresh. Behold I am doing a new thing and I am 
looking for a people who are flexible, those who are willing to bend 
when I bend, to proceed when I proceed, to move when I say go, even as 
the children of Israel in the desert moved only when the pillar of My 
presence moved.

Bed för barnen

January 2, 2013. If you have a son or daughter, this is the time to pray for them to attain wisdom and understanding. Pray that insight will come to your child in incredible ways. Are there issues with pride? Pray. How about problems with authorities in their lives? Pray. Perhaps there is open rebellion in various or many levels. Pray. You have heard it said that when a grandparent prays for their grandchildren and great grandchildren, good things happen. Consider teaming up with your parents for your child and children. May it be said of you and your spouse that one day you began to pray earnestly for your children and now live to testify of the goodness and faithfulness of the Lord to hear your prayers. Hallelujah!

Darkness is simply an absence of Light

We hear a lot about those going thru dark things, dark times, dark situations.  Some feel as if they are in the darkness in finances, emotions, difficulty, direction.
I have heard from the Lord in this. 
Light.
There is no substitute for light. 

Jesus spoke to the people once more and said, "I am the light of the world. If you follow me, you won't have to walk in darkness, because you will have the light that leads to life."  John 8:12

It is not enough to love Jesus.  It's not enough to read His Word.  It's not about being with other light bearers.  That is a given.  All those things.

What is needed is to find light and let it come into your darkness.  We know this even in our common culture. "a light went on" to speak of an idea.  "Illuminate me" to speak of someone who is going to explain something to you. People talk of revelation as "greater Light".

This is the message we heard from Jesus and now declare to you: God is light, and there is no darkness in him at all.  1 John 1:5

When a person has received darkness, they furrow their brow, a dark look comes over their face.  They have seen a dark thing.

So, Prophet, I feel dark.  I see only darkness in my situation.  Thinks in the world look pretty dark.  The financial situation seems to have no light at the end of the tunnel.  It seems like there is only a black dark hole into which I am sinking.

It only takes a little light to back off the darkness.  IF you are feeling like things are hopeless, bad, dark, not getting better...I have a word for you, the light of the world, the one in whom there is no darkness comes to bring new light into your life.  YOU don't have to push back the darkness.  You don't have to beg.  You only need to come to the realization that he is the source of light and if you will allow him to shine into and around your life you can find the way out of the dark place.

Some of that comes by your calling in, calling down, calling up.  The confession of your mouth will darken or release HIS light into your life.  Do YOU think for a second that Father, the Creator of all who said, "let there be LIGHT" ever intended for you to live in that place?  NO,  A thousand times no.

If you feel helpless, alone and in the dark, other people can't help.  They can bring comfort, but they can't bring light.  TV won't help.

You are right now creating by your beliefs, attitudes, confessions, conversation and thoughts the mountaintop you are living on or the hole you have dug.  To get out of that hole, STOP DIGGING.

It took a while to get there, It's going to take a while to get out.  You CAN get out... if you will look up and start taking steps with your mind, soul and Spirit.

It's not simplistic.  You tried before.  You have looked for another way.  There is NO OTHER WAY.  He is going to provide the light on your path enough for you to walk the next step.  That path is called the way of peace.  Find it.  Walk on it.

I can't counsel your way onto or over that path. You must find it.  YET, it's there and it is exactly what you will need to make it in the days and years ahead.  Times all around will get dark, yet you can be the light of the world...as HE shines in and thru you.
