Go forward…! Exodus 14:15 “The LORD said to Moses, “Why do you cry to me? Tell the people of Israel to go forward.”

The children of Israel were in bondage for 430 years until deliverance came for them through Moses.

I would like to highlight two significant events with regards to the crossing of the Red Sea and the crossing of the Jordan for our admonition and encouragement.

Red Sea-Exodus 14:21-22

Moses stretched out his hand over the red sea and the Lord drove the sea back by a strong east wind all night and made the sea dry land. The children of Israel walked on dry ground through the sea. However the Egyptian forces pursued and went after them into the midst of the sea. When the horses of Pharaoh with his chariots and his horsemen went into the sea, the LORD brought back the waters of the sea upon them, and were all completely destroyed.

The lesson I’m trying to draw from here is that the children of Israel must have had to be watching their backs while being pursued and running from the Egyptians.

Jordan River-Joshua 3

The Crossing here is quite different and actually referred to as “passing over”.

This time around the Ark (the Presence) and the Priests led the crossing or the passing over the Jordan. To make matters worse the Jordan was overflowing it’s banks and not the best time to be passing over. However as the priest’s feet were resting in the waters of the Jordan, and in the midst of the Jordan, the waters were completely cut off and they passed over on dry ground until all the nation of Israel finished passing over.

It is worthy to note that this time around, the Israelites were not being pursued by the enemy and having to watch their backs because of the enemies but rather to follow the presence of the Lord (the Ark) in other to possess the Promised Land flowing with milk and honey

The word for us this season as Gatekeepers is to follow the Priest (Jesus) and the Ark (presence) of God, in order for us to possess our inheritance.

This is not the time to be looking back at the enemies, but to go forward.

We are no longer being pursued; rather we should be pursuing the presence.

Isaiah 55:12 “For you shall go out in joy and be led forth in peace; the mountains and the hills before you shall break forth into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.”

Go forward and keep your gaze on the Priest and His presence in this season.

Profetia från Skara

Ett profetiskt ord delades vid Sverigebönesamlingen i Skara den 14 november. Personen som delade den rev, som en profetisk handling, under tiden orden delades isär sin favoritskjorta: 

”Jag tror vi befinner oss i en accelererande tid som samtidigt är en skördetid. Detta innebär att både ogräs och vete snabbt kommer att visa sig inom och utanför Guds familj. Avundsjuka över riklig välsignelse kan orsaka friktion genom dem som är fångna i fattigdomsmentalitet."

"Ogräs som poppar upp på ”osannolika” ställen kan verka stötande och bli ett test på hur utvecklad kärleken och visdomen är i kroppen. Vi går med snabba steg in i tiden för den sista skörden. Detta innebär att det kommer att bli ett uppvaknande bland dem som vill bli väckta och ett avfall från dem som motsätter sig Herrens ”återupplivnings”-försök när Han skakar grunden i Sitt hus."

"I detta måste vi ha ett enda fokus framför alla andra, och det är på Kristus. Vi kan inte följa människor när de gör ett val att gå i fel riktning, bort från Gud när de på så sätt förlorar sin väg i världen. Vi, Hans kvarleva kommer att förlora många som vi nu kallar vår broder och syster, även dem som vi gillar mest."

"Denna profetiska verklighet manifesterades när jag slet isär min favoritskjorta. Men ändå finns i detta alltid hopp. För Herren är en barmhärtig Gud och en försoningens Gud. Han kan föra tillbaka dem som tidigare avfallit på grund av kränkningar eller rädsla. Kränkningar som orsakas av växande prövningar i vår tid och rädslan för dessa prövningar."

"Jesus kan laga vilken mantel som helst och hela syndfulla hjärtan.. Men detta kommer att bli ett test för Hans kvarleva, att inte bli förolämpad av sina syskon. Att ha och visa kärlek som övervinner allt, även till den grad att de som en gång hittades vinns tillbaka. En omöjlig uppgift för oss, men aldrig för vår Herre."

"För vem kan förolämpa oss om vi redan är döda, och där vi tillåter Kristus att till fullo leva i och igenom oss." Gal.2:20)

"Detta är en tid då Hans församling verkligen behöver dö från sig själv på varje område och på alla sätt. Och uppstå genom Hans uppståndelsekraft till ett nytt liv som är värdigt Honom.”'

"Vi är en grupp inom Ungdom med Uppgift (UMU) Norge, som jobbar med evangelisation, bön och lovsång. Vi Upplevde för över 2 år sedan att Gud började tala till oss om hur vi som norrmän kan vara med och välsigna våra syskon i Sverige. Inte långt efter dök Örebro upp i tankarna. Vi hade inga kontakter där, så vi bad Gud om att öppna en väg i rätt tid. I våras fick vi kontakt med flera ledare i Örebro och vi tillsammans att nu är det dags för "Dag & Natt" i denna stad.

Vi i UMU Norge vill nu inbjuda vänner från de nordiska länderna att tillsammans med oss komma till Örebro och vara med på "Dag & Natt" i november. Det sker något när vi tillber Gud som är värd all tillbedjan och proklamerar Guds Ord tillsammans.

Vi inbjuder nu allt Guds folk i Örebro att vara med och be och lovsjunga Herren tillsammans denna vecka!

Dan 2:47 Och kungen sade till Daniel: "Er Gud är i sanning en Gud över alla andra gudar, en Herre över kungar och en som uppenbarar hemligheter, eftersom du har kunnat uppenbara denna hemlighet." 

Det kan ske i vår tid också. För Gud är ingenting omöjligt.

Your Kingdom Come- Matthew 6:10 “Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.”

This model of prayer taught by Jesus to the disciples demonstrates a prayer of authority.
As Gatekeepers and Intercessors we need to pray like Jesus so we become more effective in our intercession. According to this scripture we see that Heaven is the template for whatever we need to bring to the earth, and when we pray according to His will then we are guaranteed answers to our prayers.

It is the Father’s good pleasure to give us the Kingdom- Luke 12:31-32 “Instead, seek his kingdom, and these things will be added to you. “Fear not, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.”

He is commanding us to call for God’s kingdom to rule on earth, in our lives, churches and our cities/nations. The Son of God wants us to pray and to bring Heaven to earth!
To pray successfully on any particular issue we need to find out the heart of the father (God) through the study of His word and listening to Him. When you discover God’s heart on that particular issue, then you make a proclamation about His kingdom to be established on the earth as it is in heaven.

Luke 10:19 “Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall hurt you.” This is the authority bestowed on us by Jesus. The question I want to pose to you today is how often do we as believers use this freely given authority? Which brings me back again to the issue of our identity. Knowing our identity in Christ is so crucial to the lives of believers and especially gatekeepers and intercessors. We must know who we are in Christ, taking hold of our inheritance and ruling as Kings, and not living as servants as many do.

• Search for the relevant scriptures concerning the issue
• Declare the Word to bring heaven to earth
• Have faith and be expectant
• Keep on loving God and don’t stop praising

As we begin to move into a new dispensation of His purposes for this season of the great harvest we have to walk in alignment with heaven and manifest heaven on earth. This is a reminder for us all to bring the Kingdom of God to earth, as it is done in heaven.

Yesterday, millions of Christians united across denominational, cultural, and political differences as part of The Day of Prayer for the Peace of Jerusalem (DPPJ) to intercede for the city God calls His own and to invoke God's blessing, purposes, and provision upon all of Jerusalem's people. From over 175 nations, believers gathered to pray in their worship services, in their homes, in regional gatherings, on the prayer app Instapray, and on a 24 Hour Prayer Conference Call.

Robert Stearns leads worship for DPPJ 2014

Broadcast by GOD TV to over 200 nations, Christians and Jews were also able to participate in the special Jerusalem DPPJ Celebration - hosted by Eagles' Wings Founder / Executive Director Rev. Dr. Robert Stearns - at the beautiful Haas Promenade overlooking the city. Ambassador Michael Oren, the keynote speaker, was joined by religious leaders from the Jewish and Christian communities as well as members of the Knesset which included: Rabbi Dr. Shlomo Riskin - Chief Rabbi of Efrat, Mr. Akiva Tor - Head of Bureau for World Jewish Affairs and World Religions in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Faydra Shapiro - Director of the Galilee Center for Studies in Jewish Christian Relations, Bishop Canon Andrew White of St George's Church in Iraq, and many others. Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu also sent a personal letter to the gathering expressing his appreciation on behalf of himself and all the citizens of Israel, for all who were praying for Jerusalem's peace.
 

Rev. Canon Andrew White the "Vicar of Baghdad"

The Rev. Canon Andrew White, nicknamed in recent weeks as The "Vicar of Baghdad," pastors the only Anglican Church in Iraq whose members have either been martyred or driven away by ISIS. He was visibly moved, as were those in the audience, when he shared: "We are in the midst of the most horrendous slaughter against Christians in Iraq. The first people who stood with us was not The Church, but the Jews. The first people who stood with us were our Jewish brothers and sisters, who came to us and said: We have been there. We have known the horrors of The Shoah. We will not leave you. Thank you Israel."

Frmr. Ambassador 

Michael Oren

 Ambassador Oren shared what a tough summer it had been for the people of Israel and said in response to months of world condemnation: "To those who would deny Jews the right to live in their ancient homeland, we say that it is not only anti-Zionist but also anti-Christian. We say this because Jesus  - who was born in Bethlehem, baptized near Jericho, and lived in Judea -  would today be an "illegal settler" by their definition... And to any church that would remain silent in the face of Palestinian denial that the temple ever existed, it is not only denying The Temple but also denying The Gospel because it is denying the very place where Jesus taught."

Stearns declaring Jeruslem is to be a "house of prayer for all nations."

This multi-national, multi-denominational global prayer movement was started in 2002 and is co-chaired by Evangelical Christian leaders Rev. Dr. Robert Stearns, Dr. Jack W. Hayford, and Dr. Paul Cedar. Rev. Stearns took the opportunity to remind those gathered, of the call that brought them together. "This day is a day of prayer, in the very city whose ultimate calling is to be a 'House of Prayer' for all nations. True prayer believes for the impossible. We must gather and believe today that swords can be beaten into plowshares, that the Lion can lay down with the Lamb, that mercy can triumph over judgment, and that together a spiritual solution can be found to these current problems that manifest politically. Prayer is not a recitation of how bad things are, but of how good things can become."

Christians participating in the DPPJ observances not only pray for Jerusalem, but also add practical action to their intercession. This year a check of $15,000 was presented by Robert Stearns from the DPPJ offerings to support two Feeding Centers in Israel, which feed both the Arab and Jewish poor in Jerusalem and Tiberias.

In Huts, Cathedrals, and on their Mobile Phones 

Additionally, millions participated by praying in their churches, homes, and special services throughout the day, from cities to rural villages, from huts to mansions, and from cathedrals to underground churches in China and seven Muslim countries. Hispanic evangelical leader the Rev. Samuel Rodriguez, President CEO of the National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference, oversees more than 500,000 Latin churches globally and he is just one of over 1,300 global leaders endorsing DPPJ. Pastor Daniel Ouma in Tanzania reported that his church has had 24 hour prayer for Jerusalem since September 1st and that by the end of the day on October 5th, 1,650 Christians in his church had fasted and prayed.

Throughout the 24 hours of October 5, believers from around the world also prayed together through an internet "virtual prayer room" created by the 24-Hour DPPJ Prayer Conference Call (www.greatercalling.org). Callers representing the U.S. were joined by believers from many nations, including Kenya, Africa, Australia, Canada, Germany, and others. The total was 81,543 minutes combined minutes of prayer, which is the equivalent to one person praying non-stop for 56 days or almost two months of continual prayer for the Peace of Jerusalem.

New to 2014 was the addition of social media, with global believers joining one another in prayer for the peace of Jerusalem through the world's leading prayer app, Instapray. As soon as one person would release their prayer for Jerusalem, within minutes a multitude of others from places like India, the US, UK, Mexico, Australia, Ghana, South Korea, and even Saudi Arabia, sent back messages saying that they too had prayed with them. Of course if you multiply this scenario for each person praying for Jerusalem via Instapray on Oct. 5th, the number of prayers released around the world were amazing. There were 17,000 "Likes" for #DPPJ from Instapray members within hours!

"Tältmöte"

October 6, 2014. You feel guilty about going outside the camp for your spiritual needs. You need to hear a prophetic word from the Lord. At your present location, you are not getting that which you seek. The Lord wants you to know that He approves your going outside the camp at times. Study how Moses made available "a tent" wherein people could come to him in his prophetic role when they needed to inquire of the Lord. This tent was pitched outside the camp, giving privacy and the right spiritual atmosphere. Seek Me in the tent. 

Exodus 33:7 (NIV) "Now Moses used to take a tent and pitch it outside the camp some distance away, calling it the "tent of meeting." Anyone inquiring of the LORD would go to the tent of meeting outside the camp." Ras Robinson

Giving honor to other people is a special principle of godly living.  One of the Ten Commandments is to honor one's parents (Ex. 20; Deut. 5).  Giving honor is not only for parents but for all those "to whom honor is due" (Rom. 13:7).  As we pass honor upwards, God passes blessings downwards toward us in return. A little bit of honor goes a long way. 

The issue is not so much the worthiness of the other person (I Cor. 12:23), but developing the character quality of respect.  If we have respectful attitudes, then it is "safe" for God to give us glory and honor without it ruining us. Ultimately God wants to "glorify" us (Rom. 8:18, 30; I Cor. 2:7, Heb. 2:10). Respecting others in this life is part of the training to be qualified for glory in the world to come.

Over the years, the problem I have seen that has caused more damage than any other is 

"wounded pride" or "offended honor," particularly among leaders. We are to do nothing out of vain pride and competition (Gal. 5:26); but to consider all others as more honorable than ourselves (Rom. 12:10, Phil. 2:3).  Yeshua Himself gave up honor for the sake of helping others (Phil. 2:7). 

If we do the same, we can become more gracious and Christ-like in our own lives.

Last time I wrote you, I mentioned this Hebraic Year, 5775, is a palindrome – meaning it reads the same forwards and backwards. Five is the number of God’s “grace” and seven is the number of “spiritual perfection.” Seventy is the number of “perfect spiritual order carried out with all spiritual power and significance.”*

These numbers (5775) have stood out to me for weeks; and in prayer yesterday, I saw it. Putting this all together: the fives are like bookends for the number 77. They are not only symbolic of a double blessing of grace, but also they symbolize the all-encompassing grace of God! The Father’s grace is SURROUNDING us with His perfect spiritual order, which is to be carried out with all spiritual power and significance! His will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Take courage in this as we see the enemies of Christ rise up and seem to be taking ground. Have you ever heard of any war God lost? No! Yah is our Strong Tower – the righteous run to Him and they are safe. Let the Lord surround you with His peace and let that perfected peace (shalom) rule in your heart. Hallelujah!

Earlier this month the Lord gave me a prophetic word about His desire to “reveal heavenly mysteries” to His body. The Holy Spirit will lead us to fulfill our divine purpose, but we have to do our part. I will share that word in my next post.

Remember, this Rosh Hashanah is a Sabbatical year, or Shemittah, which means “to release.” (See Deuteronomy 15:1-2.) It is a year sanctioned by the Lord to “Release, Rest, and Refocus on spiritual pursuits”. We live in exciting days and we have no reason to be in fear, for God is with us. I hope you are using this time to seek the Lord, and if there is anything you have keeping you from following Jesus wholeheartedly, you will repent and turn fully back to Him. He loves you.

May you be inscribed and sealed for a good year.

Vi har nyligen haft ett politiskt val som visar att Sverige är i kris på olika sätt. Krisen har inte skett över en natt utan tilltagit de senaste fyrtio åren. Denna period har generellt sett varit som en ökenvandring för Guds folk med vikande medlemssiffror, nedlagda församlingar krympande samfund som gått samman för att hålla ställningarna. Under samma period har sekulariseringen och ett ifrågasättande av Bibelns auktoritet och trovärdighet tilltagit bland kristna samtidigt som vårt inflytandet i samhället försvagats. Parallellt har synen på människovärdet och sexualiteten förändrats i samhället. Sedan Sverige lagstiftade om fri abort 1974 har cirka 1,3 miljoner aborter gjorts. Denna ”vård” har varit, och är ett angrepp på själva livet, något som Gud ser allvarligt på och håller oss ansvariga för. Visst, varje enskild kvinna som gjort/gör abort kan bli förlåten när hon vänder sig till Jesus och ber om rening. Men som nation bär vi på en blodsskuld som förebedjarna måste be om förlåtelse för. Skilsmässorna har ökat bland icke kristna såväl som kristna och ses idag som självklart. När lagen om enkönade ”äktenskap” införde togs ytterligare ett steg bort från bibliska värderingar. Gud välsignar bara äktenskapet mellan en man och en kvinna eftersom det är så han har skapat människan. Det innebär inte att de som ingår enkönat ”äktenskap” inte är älskade av Gud, men den som lever i synd står utanför hans beskydd och är sårbar."

The Church is called to impact the world. The biblical definition "church" is not an institution or building, but rather it is made up of individuals. Jesus said "wherever two or more meet together, I am in the midst of them." The biblical word translated as "church" is ekklesia which is the original Greek meaning "the people of God."

The New Testament used this word in two different ways. Sometimes it refers to people of God gathered together in congregations. That is our traditional idea of the local church. But other times it means believers in general, wherever they might find themselves. "

Att följa sitt kall

Kallelse är ett ord som bär en hög bekännelse med sig. Ett kall är något man följer, inte något man inte kan välja, vederbörande är snarare utvald. Samtidigt är ordet kall något som kanske förlorat sin glans för många, något man sökt i ungdomsåren, något man inte vågat tro på, något som gick sönder, något man lockat människor till en bibelskola för att hitta. Oavsett vilken relation man har till kallet upplever jag hur detta kommer aktualiseras igen under denna höst.

Var desto ivrigare, mina bröder, att göra er kallelse och utkorelse fast. Gör ni det, skall ni aldrig någonsin snubbla och falla. / 2 Petr 1:10

I en bild såg jag hur många tusen vita hästar var samlade och stod redo att ridas. De var alla fullt sadlade, från sadlarna hängde det svärd och på sadlarna stod skrivet olika kallelser. Dessa hästar sökte upp människor som var ämnade att rida dem. Mitt intryck är att under hösten kommer människor i Norden uppleva hur kallelsen ”jagar” ifatt dem. De kan ha gett upp, glömt bort, vaggats in i vardagsbestyr, men de kommer utmanas igen att ta upp sitt kall. Jag tror även att budskapet om att vara kallad till tjänst, att finna sitt uppdrag kommer aktualiseras under det att detta sker.

After some tragic family deaths during her teen years, she began to experiment with alcohol and drugs. She was raped, underwent multiple abortions, and began working as a dancer at local nude dancing club, which she continued for more than four years.

On 9/11/01, New York City firefighter Stephen Siller had just completed his shift when he heard on his truck's scanner that a plane had hit one of the World Trade Center towers. Siller quickly turned his truck around and attempted to drive back to Manhattan via the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel but found the entrance blocked by abandoned vehicles. Desperate to join his elite Squad One brothers, Siller donned 75 pounds of fire gear and ran a mile-and-a-half through the tunnel, before an emergency vehicle picked him up and dropped him off at Tower Two.

Heaven Prescribed Lenses- Joshua 6:1-2 “Now Jericho was shut up inside and outside because of the people of Israel. None went out, and none came in. And the LORD said to Joshua, “See, I have given Jericho into your hand, with its king and mighty men of valor.” (Emphasis mine)
It is important to have a clear of understanding what you see when you are in the midst of a battle.

The Gatekeeper must see with the eyes of the Spirit and that is seeing as God sees.

We are told Jericho was securely shut up inside and outside and no one went out and no one came in, yet the Lord told Joshua to see and he had to visualize with the eyes of the Spirit in order to possess the land. There was a different reality between seeing with the physical eyes and seeing with the eyes of the Spirit. We have to go beyond seeing with the physical eyes and see whatever we are praying for as accomplished according to the word of the Lord.

Another way of seeing is that when you encounter an obstacle you see Jesus-instead of the obstacle. John 10:9 (CJB) “I am the gate; if someone enters through me, he will be safe and will go in and out and find pasture.”

Instead of the obstacle you have to visualize your breakthroughs through the “gate” which is Jesus.
Psalm 18:29 “For by you I can run against a troop, and by my God I can leap over a wall.”

Ask God to give you a new heavenly prescribed lenses today, so you see like He sees and you will experience a new level of faith by seeing your victories and breakthroughs even before they happen.

Have a faith filled week seeing your victories through Jesus the Gate.
