Att göra skillnad

Jag läste en berättelse idag om en kristen man som tillsammans med sin fru som personlig förebedjare fick ett stort inflytande i en hel nation genom sitt företagande.

Just den här berättelsen handlade om en företagare, men jag tror att var och en av oss kristna i samarbete med den Helige Ande kan påverka mycket, mycket mer än vi kan föreställa oss. När vi mer och mer träder in i den plats som Herren har för just oss och ställer oss till förfogande, så tror jag Han ger oss idéer, lösningar och allt annat vi behöver för att göra skillnad just i den funktion Han har gett oss. Det kan handla om lösa konkreta problem, uppfinna nya produkter, lösa konflikter, hitta nya sätt att möta behov, skriva nya sånger, ja det finns verkligen ingen gräns för det är ju Gud som skapat allting. Skulle Han då inte ha en lösning på alla problem och svar på alla frågor vi någonsin kan tänkas ställa?

Hindret för att denna potential inte är helt synlig än eller görs anspråk på, är kanske att vi inte tänker på eller räknar med att Gud har alla de här svaren, utan försöker lösa saker och ting i egen kraft.    

Ett annat bra exempel på hur en kreativ lösning byggd på Bibelns principer kan påverka och bli till välsignelse för ett stort antal människor är ett alternativ till "Obamacare". Initiativet heter "Medi Share" och handlar om att medlemmarna solidariskt betalar varandras sjukvårdskostnader. Se klippet här:

I saw people of all ages, races, denominations and levels of social status rising up and taking their position in the Body of Christ. As they came together, they formed a human body. I saw this “Body” walking all over the world. There were no parts of the body that were not in unity as they all were led by the Head – the mind of Christ. Then the Lord continued to speak:

“In Ephesians 4:11-12, I made it clear how the church needs to operate to function properly. Jesus Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ. In Ephesians 2:19-22, I shared the plan for My Church, My temple. I made it clear that the Church needs to operate with the apostolic and prophetic leaders to set the foundation. Then the evangelists, pastors, and teachers are to build on that foundation with Christ being the Cornerstone. Though many have seen Christ as the Cornerstone, they have failed to see the need for apostolic and prophetic counsel. Most have the pastor running the whole church and that was not My intentions for that office and why so many burn out early. Because the foundation is often overlooked as being true in times past, the churches crumble and then wonder what happened. My word is eternally true.”

Kors - befruktning

Ett ord till många kyrkor/församlingar i Sverige för den här tiden med början i år

The Lord is opening a sovereign window for 'spring warm winds' to blow through churches in Sweden. There will be a thawing out, a fresh scent of heaven, and new things budding & blooming (new Holy Spirit initiated and empowered works) for those who respond to the Holy Spirit. 

As well, there will be a historical amount of 'cross pollinating' taking place. These warm winds of spring will bring a joy to many leaders that will cause them to reach out and work with other leaders that they might never have worked with before in extending the Kingdom of God. It's time to open the windows to let out what's stale and let in the winds of God that are ripe for planting. Do not merely look for miracles- look for miraculous new works springing up!

A return to the ‘heart of David’

"… As we have seen, a lot of what is happening today is an emphasis on new paradigms of ministry. The contemporary church landscape is littered with a multiplicity of conferences and books on new apostolic structures, cell structures and so on. We think all we need to do is change the system. …

The new covenant, though, is not a promise of new paradigms but of new hearts (Ezk 36:26). While there are certainly paradigms of church life that more adequately facilitate spiritual life, heaven’s priority is on the wine, not the wineskin – on the spirit, not the structure. No amount of superimposing new paradigms – new methods, techniques, or programs on the old problem of idolatry will produce revival. It will simulate renewal for a short while, but never stimulate revival.

Only a return to the ‘heart of David’ will produce the revival we are longing for. Like David, God give this generation a cry for a 'new spirit' (Psa 51) – for a clean heart – a heart that will not bow to another god."

Village of Hope

Jag har själv besökt "Village of Hope" i Estland som reportaget handlar om och det gjorde ett oförglömligt intryck på mig. En påtaglig kombination av stark faderskärlek, tydlighet och drivkraft hos dess ledare Märt Vähi gjorde också ett djupt intryck. Det är ett fantastiskt arbete som bärs av en vision från Gud. Det tar också fysisk form genom många villiga händer. Detta är ett "bygge" på många olika plan!

"Under den senaste tiden upplever jag hur Gud talat i ett par större teman. Ett av dessa teman rör området av drömmar. Jag upplever hur det finns en speciell nåd för nystart, omstart, omformulering och omvärdering när det kommer till våra drömmar. En del människor i Guds rike kommer finna sig i spänningen mellan stora drömmar och ringa begynnelser, vilket inte blir utan utmaningar.

Hur någon påbörjar processen att drömma är av mindre relevans, om drömmen startas med en enkel tanke eller om det är änglabesök med eldskrift på väggen är inte det viktiga. Det viktiga i sammanhanget är om drömmen är född tillsammans med Gud. Mitt i en kultur där drömmar påverkas av orsak och verkan, brainstoming och strategiskt tänkande är det vitalt att stanna upp och söka Gud om man har välsignelse att gå vidare med visionen. Varför detta är viktigt är inte risken att drömmen inte blir sann, vi människor kan faktiskt utföra en hel del i egen kraft, risken är att missa fullheten av vad Gud har tänkt."

What Lies Ahead for 2014?

There are four Scriptures I hear the Lord highlighting in a special way this year to express some ways in which I believe He will be both shaking and awakening:

1.  Let the little children come to Me, and do not hinder them, for the Kingdom of God belongs to such as these (Mark 10:14).  I believe this year we will see the beginning of a great outpouring of the Holy Spirit on very small children (ages 2-10).   They will be prophesying things that are beyond their natural ability to understand at that age.  They will be awakened in the middle of the night to hear the Lord as did the child Samuel.  They will receive key visions and dreams that will bring direction not only for their own lives, but for adults.  They will operate in a surprising way in words of knowledge, healing and miracles.  It is important that we do not quench, but gently pastor this move of the Lord among children.  We must pray to help give birth to, and to protect, this move of the Holy Spirit upon children.

2.  Surrounding the throne were twenty-four elders..  They were dressed in white and had crowns of gold on their heads (Rev. 4:4).  Even as the Harp and Bowl (Rev. 5:8) was greatly emphasized in these past fifteen years, so this year will be very key in the prayer movement for the raising up of an emphasis upon the other two things that characterize the elders around The Throne: their own thrones and crowns.  There will be an increased understanding of the exercise of governmental intercession.

Similar to Rees Howells, many intercessors will not pray so much in reaction to what is reported in the news, but will receive detailed visions and instructions as they learn to enter into the council room before the Lords Throne.   They will proclaim His Throne-room decrees upon the earth with increasing accuracy, detail, and authority.  Certain intercessors will be recognized by high governmental authorities in their city or nation, who will seek their counsel concerning security issues and decisions.

3.  If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand.  If a house is divided against itself, that house cannot stand.  And if Satan opposes himself and is divided, he cannot stand; his end has come (Mark 3:24-26).  I believe this is a season where the prayer movement will use against Satan the tool he has so often used against the Church: division.  This will be especially true as we learn to proclaim division upon the nation and house of Islam. 

This is a season for proclaiming increased division between the demonic powers behind Islam, especially that the Sunni and Shiite movements be distracted from Israel, as they act upon their deepening divisions.  I felt the Lord spoke to me that I will shake everything that can be shaken, and Islam can be shaken. A house divided against itself cannot stand, and the nation of Islam can be divided. The harvest from Islam can be harvested.

The great harvest that is exploding in Indonesia (and which followed their own great shakings) will gradually move westward, with nations falling like dominoes before the hand of the Lord.

Look for increased shakings and upheaval in the Middle East, especially in Egypt, Turkey, Iran, and among the Kurdish people. Look for the Lord to supernaturally intervene to protect Israel, further exposing the lies of Islam. As the shakings become increasingly violent, the true face of Islam will be exposed for those seeking truth to see.  There will be a quick movement of houses of prayer across the Middle East to pray their nations through these shakings into a place of harvest.  Much of this harvest will start amongst children and youth.  In a vision concerning Syria, I saw it like the scene after a forest fire, mostly ashes.  But young seedling were springing up everywhere, and angels were pouring Miracle Grow fertilizer on these young trees to cause them to quickly grow into oaks of righteousness. 

Tied in with this will be a huge Student Volunteer Missions Movement mobilizing young adults from the Far East into Central Asia, and the Middle East to establish houses of prayer, and to help reap the harvest.Market place apostles from the Far East will release wise counsel, and help with visas and finances into this movement.  

4.  At least here is hope for a tree: If it is cut down, it will sprout again, and it new shoots will not fail.  Its roots may grow old in the ground and its stump die in the soil, yet at the scent of water it will bud and put for shoots like a plant (Job 14:7-9).  In some places we have thought beyond hope, prayer and worship will water ancient roots of the Kingdom of God, which will send for new branches of life.

I believe this will be especially seen in Israel, in the Middle East, around the Mediterranean, in France, and on the East Coast of the United States.   

I just spoke for a national seminar on houses of prayer in France. This nation has been so dark for so long, but I was greatly encouraged by the testimonies of many houses of prayer quickly being planted there, and by many reports of the Holy Spirit moving upon small children in prophetic ways.  I had gone there to proclaim that this is a time where the Lord is going to bring new branches from the roots of an outpouring upon children that occurred during the time of the Huguenots in the late 1600s, but most of the Huguenots were killed or forced to flee in the face of severe persecution. I was so encouraged by reports of how the Lord is already bringing forth new branches from those old roots.

In a similar fashion, I (and others) have had visions of flames of fire around the Mediterranean in areas many had thought of as without hope.

There is a new stirring as well on the East Coast of the United States (in the thirteen original Colonies). I recently had a vision of an eagle circling over Philadelphia, who then swooped down to pull out a serpent which had been laced through thirteen original Colonies, and whose head and mouth were over Massachusetts.  This serpent had swallowed a generation of young people into its belly, where they were trapped in deep darkness.

I understood this serpent to be the sprit of the Prince of Greece, of secular humanism, and it had especially swallowed young leaders attending Ivy League universities in the North East of America. As intercessors cried out, the eagle grabbed this serpent between its claws, took it up and then ripped it apart, with this young generation released from the prison of its belly, and parachuting down on the East Coast to become points of burning fire in the darkness. I saw it had the potential, if guarded and fathered, of growing into a Third Great Awakening.  At the same time, we can expect increasingly violent persecution to come from secular humanists against Christians, but if we persevere, it will only fuel great growth in this new move of the Lord.

May we hear the Lord in this season to press in for a great outpouring upon children; for greater authority to be exercised in governmental intercession; for the protection of Israel, and a great harvest amongst Muslims; and for new life and fruitful branches to spring up from old roots.

Tobias Rawet föddes i polska Lodz. Tillsammans med sin familj hamnade han våren 1940 i stadens getto. Under kvällen den 26 januari besökte han Kristet Center Örebro och berättade sin berättelse. Kvällen var ett högtidlighållandeav minnet av Förintelsens offer. Talade gjorde även Örebro kommunfullmäktiges ordförande, Lars O Molin, och Förenade Israelinsamlingens generalsekreterare, Ulf Cahn." Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? Matthew 6:26

As I write you, two unusual things are happening outside my window. First, it’s snowing. Now that may not seem so unusual, but where I live in Georgia, it doesn’t snow very often. The second thing is that a flock of Goldfinch came to my birdfeeders. Goldfinch normally don’t come to the feeders in numbers until March when it warms up! In light of this, a flock of Goldfinch plus snow is a very strange combination. Whenever odd things like this happen, I try to slow down and ask the Lord what He’s saying through it. In fact, as I write this, a Goldfinch landed right on my windowsill, and while awkwardly perched, he looked into the house and right at me as if to tell me something very important!

Against the backdrop of the pure, white, falling snow, the flocking Goldfinch are stark in color – even though the ones feasting at my feeders are donned in their dull winter plumage. Traditionally the Goldfinch is symbolic of “Resurrection.” (The European Goldfinch has a crimson face.) The American Goldfinch at my window, has a golden head, which I believe is symbolic of being mindful of God’s glory. Hallelujah – we have been given the mind of Christ! The cleansing David cried out for in Psalm 51:7 “Wash me, and I will be whiter than snow,” is for us each to receive. It comes from the Resurrection power only found in Christ Jesus. (See 1 Corinthians 2:16 and 1 John 1:7.)

2 Chronicles 7:14 is at the forefront of this message (I will add my observations in parenthesis). It is also significant to point out that when God said this to Solomon, He appeared to him. (See verse 12)

“If My people (God’s people, not the ‘sinners of the world’) who are called by My name (Christians – those who accept Jesus as their personal Savior) will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways (Whose? God’s people must turn from THEIR wicked ways – He is not talking to the abortionists or the homosexuals. God is talking to His Church!), then (THEN), I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”

If you remember anything about this post, let it be this point: We are in a season right now to open heaven’s doors like never before in prayer. Let us pray like Jesus prayed, and only do what the Father shows us and only say what He says. (See John 5:19-20 and John 14:12)

P.S. As I have been writing this post, the snowstorm has gotten very serious. It’s not that there is that much snow, but since people here aren’t used to it there have been many accidents. In fact, the governor of Georgia has declared a “State of Emergency.” Prayers appreciated!
It has also dawned on me that the storm started southwest of here and then moved across the South to the northeast. The Goldfinch may have been pushed northward by the storm. What I know for sure is that they were sure happy to see my feeders  full. In fact, I usually don’t fill the finch feeders until March, but I so happened to fill it yesterday!

The hand of the Lord was on me, and he brought me out by the Spirit of the Lord and set me in the middle of a valley; it was full of bones.  He led me back and forth among them, and I saw a great many bones on the floor of the valley, bones that were very dry.

He asked me, “Son of man, can these bones ( eg in Auschwitz ) live?” I said, “Sovereign Lord, you alone know.” Then he said to me, “Prophesy to these bones and say to them, ‘Dry bones, hear the word of the Lord! This is what the Sovereign Lord says to these bones: I will make breath enter you, and you will come to life !" Ezekiel 37 v 1-5

Please pray for this important meeting. A team of six Christians from Berlin together with Polish Christians will also be taking part. Pray for the protection of everyone and for the leading and presence of the Holy Spirit.

May God really " provide for those who grieve in Zion - bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair".
