Överflödande liv
Colorless Christianity
If you look at the iteration of the word for abundance, it is overflowing, all that you could ask or expect. Surplus.
Many people quote these scriptures related to prosperity, the abundant life is soooo much more and is our portion. We have no idea until we live there.
When you get to heaven you will experience extreme joy. Hilarity. You will see colors you never knew existed. You will have a sense of emotion you never had on earth. You will see miraculous things you thought were impossible. You will in short have complete fullness of abundance.
What if I told you that was possible right here right now. Maybe not to the fullness you will have on the other side of the veil, but real fullness. Joy unspeakable and full of glory the old song said. It's true.
Yet so many Christians who have bought into a colorless Christianity that has been told them who are robbers of joy. In the first part of John 10:10 it says "The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy;" There are those who see it as their purpose in life to steal your joy. Some do it by legalism. Some by tradition. Some by ritual. Some by simply telling you what you believed is all wrong. I have people come to my door to tell me that all the time. Jehovah witness, Mormon. When it really gets insidious is when the joy killers are very close to being in the camp.
What does that abundant life in God, colorful Christianity look like. Here's some things I know that are a part:
- Expectation of the Glory of God to appear
- A sense that the miraculous is or will occur
- Goodness and mercy will follow me
- Joy that overwhelms sometimes. It happens in our emotions. Sometimes laughing, sometimes weeping. But if you have the joy of the Lord, you know it. You do.
- A manifestation of the Love of God inside and towards others
- A fullness's of the spirit with all 9 of the gifts operating at one time or another
- A deep desire to tell everyone what God has done in your life, bubbling up out of you
- A recognition that when people are gathered together in unity will shake a place
Things come and go. There are times when all of that is huge. Other times will be some less. BUT this is the nature of colorful Christianity.
Don't let people steal your joy by telling you that things are or are not scriptural. It's a hoax. They don't know. Real Christianity cannot be explained. It can only be experienced. When you do, you have just a little bit of heaven.
It's a colorful life.

http://thegospelcoalition.org/blogs/justintaylor/2010/12/31/bible-reading-plans-3/

Iran Sentences American Pastor to 8 Years in Prison
(Monday, January 28, 2013)Christian pastor Saeed Abedini, an American imprisoned in Iran on charges of evangelizing, was sentenced Sunday morning to eight years in prison.
Abedini was verbally sentenced in Tehran by Judge Pir-Abassi, known as the "hanging judge," to eight years in prison for threatening the national security of Iran through his leadership in Christian house churches. He will serve the time in Iran’s notorious Evin Prison, known as one of the most brutal.
Earlier this month, Iran’s semi-official news agency, ISNA, quoted Abedini’s attorney, Nasser Sarbazi, as saying his client stood trial in the Revolutionary Court on charges of attempting to undermine state security by creating a network of Christian churches in private homes.
The pastor, who is of Iranian origin but lives in Boise, Idaho, has rejected the charges.
Although the U.S. does not have diplomatic relations with Iran, National Security Council spokesperson Bernadette Meehan said in a statement Sunday the administration is "deeply disappointed that Saeed Abedini has been sentenced to eight years in prison in Iran on a charge related to his religious beliefs.
"We condemn Iran’s continued violation of the universal right of freedom of religion and we call on the Iranian authorities to release Mr. Abedini." Meehan added that the State Department remains in close contact with Abedini.
(Sources: Fox News, CBS News, Jerusalem Post)
As the Lord leads, please pray:
- For the appeals that will be made on Pastor Abedini’s behalf - whether by his attorneys or by the State Department - for his release.
- For Pastor Abedini to have the courage of the Apostle Paul as he witnesses to his jailers. (Acts 16:11-40)
- For the pastor’s family and friends, including the Christians in Iran in whose homes he ministered.

Tacksamhet
Ett annorlunda sätt att se
på saken...tänkvärt!
I Am Thankful
I am thankful...
- for the husband who complains when his dinner is not on time because he is home with me, not with someone else.
- For the teenager who is complaining about doing dishes because that means she is at home & not on the streets.
- For the taxes that I pay, because it means that I am employed.
- For the mess to clean after a party, because it means that I have been surrounded by friends.
- For the clothes that fit a little too snug, because it means I have enough to eat.
- For my shadow that watches me work, because it means I am out in the sunshine.
- For a lawn that needs mowing, windows that need cleaning, and gutters that need fixing, because it means I have a home.
- For all the complaining I hear about the government, because it means that we have freedom of speech.
- For the parking spot I find at the far end of the parking lot, because it means I am capable of walking and that I have been blessed with transportation.
- For my huge heating bill, because it means I am warm.
- For the lady behind me in church that sings off key, because it means that I can hear.
- For the pile of laundry and ironing, because it means I have clothes to wear.
- For weariness and aching muscles at the end of the day, because it means I have been capable of working hard.
- For the alarm that goes off in the early morning hours, because it means that I am alive.
- And finally.......for too much e-mail, because it means I have friends who are thinking of me.

Barnaskapets ande
The Spirit of Adoption
Written by John Paul Jackson"Many of us live in fear, not understanding the relentless strength of this Spirit of Adoption. We think we could somehow discourage His love. But that is not true. He has picked up the pen and signed the papers with His blood. The deed is done. The Spirit of Adoption has come upon us, and it is an intense love."

Rom 8:15-17
Jag nämnde litegrann häromdagen om "andliga fästen" något som på engelska heter "strongholds" . En mycket bra grundläggande undervisning i ämnet finns på denna sidan:;

Frid i sinnet? Sinnesfrid?
leva.

Låt Herren rannsaka ditt hjärta
New Revelation Knowledge for 2013: How
to receive God’s blessings?
(January 19, 2013)
We have been taught in the modern
charismatic church to ask God for whatever we need, and that is certainly
something that we can find in the word. “Ye have not because ye ask not.”
(James 4:2)
There is however a translation
problem that leads to a perception problem. The English word pray is
derived from a root word meaning “to beg or to entreat,” while the Hebrew word להתפלל (hitpallel) comes from a verb meaning “to judge or
correct
oneself.”
The bible mostly mentions this (“to
judge or correct oneself”) as the correct approach to God. David refers to it
repeatedly in his
psalms.
“Who can understand his errors,
cleans thou me from secret faults.” Psalm 14:12
“Let the words of my mouth and
the meditation of my heart be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord my strength and my
redeemer.” Psalm 14:19
“Search me, oh God, and know my
heart, try me and know my thoughts, and see if there be any wicked way in me,
and lead me in the way everlasting.” Psalm 139:23-24
So, the self correction thinking
is more in line with the early (Hebrew cultured) church thinking. This thinking
has also more humility, as opposed to the thinking, or mind-set, of blaming God
or the devil for our problems. It is also not to be confused with
self-condemnation or
self-accusation which is unscriptual. (Romans 8:1)
Paul writes (by the Spirit) about
the importance of self examination and self correction in connection with
taking communion.
“But let a man examine himself,
and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup.” (1 Corinthians 11:28)
The problem is not to get God to
do something for us, but rather to correct and align our lives so we can
receive that which he has already provided for us.
God has already blessed us with all spiritual blessings in
heavenly places in Christ Jesus. (Ephesians 1:3)
Constantly asking God, without
self-correction, is an error and robs us of God’s best!
“Examine yourselves, whether you
be in the faith, prove your own selves,” (2 Corinthians 13:5)
So, when we pray we must first
examine our hearts in the light of the Word and let the Spirit of God correct
us. Then we can really call upon the Lord in faith, and he will surely answer
us according to his word. (Jeremiah 33:3)

THE TRUMPET by BILL
BURNS:
Tell the people to get themselves untangled in
their position of life, says the Lord. Untangle yourselves one tangle at a time
with understanding that as you finish the process everything will be in order.
Do not leave tangled messes in your life. For, if you do so you will be caught
in them and taken captive by them.
SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by
MARSHA BURNS:
I am bringing
you through a time of testing and adjustments. There are corrections to
be made to your path of life, and those corrections will begin to bear fruit as
soon as you let go of the things that have been a distraction and a hindrance
to your progression. You will now be able to see with greater clarity and
understanding, says the Lord, as you walk in the Spirit.
Proverbs
10:17 He who keeps instruction is in the way of life, but he who refuses
correction goes astray.

Ledarkonferens med Ranty Clark
19-21 mars 2013 - New Wine Ledarkonferens
New
Wine Ledarkonferens 2013 i Stockholm Gästtalare:
Randy
Undervisa
ordet och utföra gärningarna (ofta
utfördes gärningarna medan undervisningen pågick)! Det var så Jesus
gjorde det, och nu är
nyheten utbasunerad: Vi kan också göra det!

Vila i nåden
Vila i nåden. Guds välsignelse! / Barnabas
