Lyssna på boken om Rees Howell, förebedjare

Genom Norman Grubbs bästsäljande biografi om Rees Howell blev Howells livshistoria känd för miljoner.  

Howell föddes i Wales, lämnade skolan vid tolv års ålder och arbetade sedan i ett tennbruk och i en kolgruva. När han lärde känna kraften hos sin Herre och Frälsare, tog han konsekvenserna av total överlåtelse, lärde sig älska de mest utsatta och hittade nyckeln till bönens kraft.  

Som resultat blev han en man som inspirerade andra kristna både i Storbritannien och i södra Afrika där han blev kanalen för en mäktig väckelse. Rees Howell grundade också Bibeln College of Wales i Swansea. 
Den typ av förbön som blev Rees Howells kännemärke och som påverkar både nationell politik och internationella angelägenheter, kan vi inspireras av också idag.

70 år efter staten Israels återupprättelse infaller idag Yom Kippur, Försoningsdagen.

The Autumn Wind

At this moment, your life may seem turbulent, messy and dry but remember that God is working for your good; He is coming like the Autumn wind that takes off dead leaves from the trees and blows them away.
God is promising that you are entering into a new season and He is blowing the old away. At this change point, you are being encouraged to lay down what is not fruitful or not necessary - even the things you have carried for years. As these leaves and even 'large branches' are removed, God is blessing lots of new fruit and adventures to start to grow from your life. Allow God to blow the old away and make space for the new. 

Isaiah 43:18-19
Do not remember the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.
