Internationella minnesdagen för Förintelsens offer idag

"Förintelsens minnesdag

27 januari samlas människor över hela världen i en årlig manifestation. Det är den internationella minnesdagen för Förintelsens offer – samma datum som förintelselägret Auschwitz-Birkenau befriades 1945. 2005 deklarerade FN denna dag som internationell minnesdag. Sedan 1999 har det varit en nationell minnesdag. Det är en dag då vi hedrar minnet av alla som mördades under Förintelsen och en dag för alla som vill uttrycka sitt stöd för alla människors lika värde."

Kärleksfullt flyktingmottagande

Varje dag anländer tusentals flyktingar från Syrien med båt vid stranden av den grekiska ön Lesbos, i hopp om att hitta en ny start i Europa. På stranden väntar ett räddnings team av läkare och sjuksköterskor på dem, både arabiska och judiska, från den israeliska människorättsorganisationen IsraAid.

Bön via webb-tv

Ikväll måndag den 25 januari kl. 21.00 inleds testsändningar via webb-tv av den s.k. 21-bönen

 

Det blir en kort aftonbön (5-7 min) som leds av en präst eller annan böneledare.

Möjlighet finns också att lägga in egna böneämnen i en textruta, som sedan kan ses av alla som deltar i bönen via webben. Bönen skall kunna följas även i Iphone och liknande.

Efter bönen sparas denna och kan ses vid valfritt tillfälle senare.

Bönen avses att sändas varje måndag kl 21.00, till att börja med med inspelade bönepass, senare allt mer med live-sändningar. På sikt är det tänkt att bönen skall återkomma varje kväll, men också gå ut via närradio, och - med Guds hjälp, nå allt fler människor i landet – visionen är att inspirera till en “folkets bön”, där alltfler deltar kväll efter kväll.

Missions: The Barnabas Model 

Allow me a few unconventional thoughts on what we refer to as "missions." If it is detrimental to the church's growth to have a founding pastor who never leaves or stays for 20, 30, or more years at the same church, it is, in my view, even more detrimental when the typical missionary to a foreign land pioneers a work, and it may be a very good work, mind you, and also stays for 20, 30, or more years, or until his dying day. This is not the biblical pattern set forth and lived out by Paul and others of like ministry in the early days of the Church. 

A prime example, even before Paul received his apostolic call, was when Barnabas was sent from Jerusalem to Antioch. True, later on Barnabas would essentially function in more of a supporting role as part of this ministerial tandem. But, at the beginning, it was Barnabas who assumed the lead, pioneering a prototype model for church planting upon which Paul and others would follow and expand upon. But, make no mistake, this was anything but a clever idea birthed from the mind of Barnabas. It was, in fact, a Holy Spirit revelation from the Mind of God which provided the spiritual principles upon which the tangible birthing and building of a local church was predicated upon.

Saxat ur Sverigebönens månadsutskick för december 2015:

"Sverige bär på en andlig nyckelroll bland Nordens länder. Det menar Rania Sayegh, arab och kristen böneledare från Israel, som nyligen var på besök i Stockholm. Hon talade vid Sverigebönens lunchbön i Citykyrkan och delade två profetiska syner hon haft. 

I den ena synen såg hon en pil, en sådan som används i strid. På varje del av pilen stod en nation uppskriven. Huvudet var Norge, skaftet Sverige och bakre delen Finland, berättade hon. Varje del av pilen har viktiga funktioner. På samma sätt har dessa tre länder en särskild smörjelse från Gud, sa Rania Sayegh, men uppehöll sig vid skaftet - Sverige. Skaftet behöver vara starkt för att pilen ska gå rakt och träffa målet. Guds kallelse till Sverige är att vara starkt, inte i egen kraft utan i Guds kraft, också under press och problem, att resa sig upp och vara i linje med Gud."

THANKSGIVING- Psalm 100:4 “Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise! Give thanks to him; bless his name!”
 
Jesus modelled thanksgiving for us in a way that the giving of thanks releases miracles or answer to prayers. In His model the thanks comes before the answer. In the world’s model thanks is giving after we receive the answer. It is easier for us to be thankful after receiving a gift or an answer to prayers than to be thankful before we receive. Jesus’s model goes against the grain of what we know and/or what we are used to.

I am raising you up as a spiritual army. I am raising all you who feel broken and bashed; all you who feel useless and weak, I am raising you up as an army. 'For these are the days', says God, 'of your advancement and of fear in the enemy's eyes because I am raising up my army'.

God is releasing boldness and confidence to you even now as you read this word. He is stirring new boldness to burst forth in you and out of you to effect change in the area you occupy and influence.

Where you have felt silenced - God is giving you a voice.
Where you have felt powerless in present circumstances - God is releasing power and strategy to you so that you can move out.
Where you have felt downtrodden  - God is giving you the ability to not only stand up but to move forward in righteous assertion, so that you might thwart satan's plan to limit you.

Get ready, for your life is about to change! As you partner with this word you will not be held back with old issues and difficulties. the fetters will be broken and you will advance as the Lord advances - like a mighty man!

You are a soldier of the Lord and you part of HIs army in these days. Rise up warrior! Rise up and fight back at what has held you down! God is with you and he has given you power, by His Spirit, to advance.

The battle belongs to the Lord

To all you are tired and weary from fighting and who feel like you have been on the defensive for too long now: God is giving new strategies of war and the first one is that the battle belongs to Him. Do not even attempt to fight in your own strength - as you have already seen, it will tire you out and you will want to give up.
I say to you, 'Stand! Stand firm and see the salvation of your God. Stand shoulder to shoulder with your brothers and sisters. God never meant you to battle alone, you are a part of His army. Stand together, stand as one.'
Be ready for new strategies and new tactics from God; things are going to be done differently from henceforth: are you ready to change? Tell Him.
1 Chronicles 5:20 They were helped against them, and the Hagrites and all who were with them were given into their hand; for they cried out to God in the battle, and He answered their prayers because they trusted in Him.

Not only will you enter it with great empowerment, but greater clarity of vision, fire of passion and hunger for Him, but great uncontainable JOY!

"Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. A season of light

2016 - A SEASON OF LIGHT by Bill Burns -

January 4, 2016:

You are entering into a season of light.  The light that brings revelation and reveals My presence is upon you.  Even though darkness is increasing on earth, My glory shall rest upon those who are Mine, says the Lord.  You shall begin to shine forth in My kingdom, so be filled with joy.  For, it is the season to do so.  Isaiah 60:1-2  Arise, shine; For your light has come! And the glory of the LORD is risen upon you. For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, And deep darkness the people; But the LORD will arise over you, And His glory will be seen upon you.

This scripture is spoken of prophetically in Isaiah 21:11-12 where the Lord asks a question of the prophets:  "Watchmen what of the night (darkness)?"  The watchman says, "The morning (light) comes in the darkness (night).

And, then to the prophets the Lord says, "Return to Me, come back to your calling, and then inquire of Me; ask and it (My word) shall be given."

Herre, hjälp oss att följa dig närmare och få reflektera ljuset från Dig genom oss, våra ord och våra gärningar under 2016. Hjälp oss att lysa upp de sammanhang Du har satt oss att verka i. Tack för Livets ljus som du ger oss när vi följer Dig, hjälp oss att i varje situation välja livets och kärlekens väg.
