Message for Sweden
(November 3,
2011)
God
gave me three prophetic words
and observations at our last visit to Sweden, and I
am sharing these words, hoping to help and encourage those that hungry for more
of God.
The first revelation is
that the Kingdom of God is
within us and that everything starts as a revelation within us not
outside, because God works from within, in our hearts (Luke 17:21).
I
can see that many in the church world in Sweden are praying and waiting for the
Lord to send revival, not
realizing that they do not have to wait for something to happen on the outside,
but that they themselves, by praying and seeking God, can have rivers of living
water flowing out of their own bellies (spirits) (John 7:37-38).
Others
are praying for healing thinking that it will come from the outside instead of
the inside. The Word says: Keep
thy heart with all diligence for out of it are the issues of life (Prov. 4:23).
That is why forgiving others is a must in order to keep
a free spirit and a healthy body.
Healing and health is an issue of life that also comes out of a heart
filled with Gods loving Word, for the Word is life to those that find it and
health to all their flesh Prov. 4:22.
As a matter of fact, all success
comes from within,
because as we meditate in the Word day and night we shall have good success
Josh 1:8, as we pursue our God given dream.
The second revelation is that
in our calling as Christians to spread the Gospel of the Kingdom of God, we need to be more target group oriented and
more target group sensitive, in order to get the job done.
Jesus said that he would teach us to be fishers of men (Matthew 4:19).
A
fisherman knows that different kinds of fish require different methods of
fishing. You would for example not try to fish whale with a net, or shark with
a bamboo rod.
Nevertheless the Church as a whole have in many cases tried to apply the
same approach in different cultures and nations, and had therefore had somewhat
limited success in the spreading of the Good News of the Kingdom of God to all
peoples, cultures, and nations.
Paul
the Apostle and maybe the greatest missionary of all times said: “I am made all things to all (men), that I may by all
means save some.” (1
Cor. 9:22)
I
am made all things to all men - I become all things; that is, I accommodate
myself to them in all things, so far as can be done with a good conscience. "That
I might by all means, that I might use every possible endeavor, that some at
least might be saved.
He
knew better then to try to apply the same method to everybody, and could
therefore as a servant reach many nations with both Jews and Gentiles, rich and
poor, weak and strong 1 (Cor. 9:19-22). In other words Paul was target group sensitive.
The third revelation is a word
from the Lord about Sweden.
The Lord said that the Church in Sweden has a small window of time to repent before judgment
will suddenly come upon the nation.
Judgment
(correction), not destruction, is something positive because it will save the
nation, and it must start in the house of God.
For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and
if it first begins with us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the
gospel of God? (1 Peter 4:17)
